The car-sharing solution Optimum Carsharing offers various technologies for managing keys and door openings. Whatever the case, we make it easy to take possession and return your vehicle.
RFID technology
An RFID badge reader is placed on the windshields of the vehicles. Users, equipped with their access badge (nominative or not), identify themselves in order to start the reservation and open the vehicle doors.
Bluetooth technology
Using his or her smartphone and the dedicated mobile application, the user transmits a door-opening command to the vehicle, which is executed once its validity has been checked.
Key cabinet technology
Vehicle keys are stored in a secure, connected key box. Users enter their confidential code (communicated on their smartphone) to obtain the key corresponding to their reservation.
